We love our new home, it´s been great to have Maria Fritz with the design of our new home. She is very up date and creative person, she showed us all the posibility according to our tastes until we got exactly what we wanted. It was very easy to talk to her, even though we were in different places, her response to any our concerns was very fast. She even helped us showing us through 3D short films how it could be, so it was easy to choose from all the possibilities. It was a really big support towards our project in Barcelona and we definitely recommend her work.

Maria and her company saved me-- they can deal with all of the central aspects of renovation: not only high-quality and cost-effective design choices, but also knowing what kinds of contractors to get and how to manage them to get the job done properly while not getting over-charged. Bay Area Home Design saved me a huge amount of time and money and the result is that I have a beautiful bathroom for less than anyone thinks I spent.

Maria was here for an hour, and in that time I got more useful information from her than from anyone else that we interviewed! It was really quite impressive and what I particularly liked was her sensitivity to our budget and the many many suggestions that she had for resources for our project. In particular she had recommended a shop in San Rafael, which we went to several times and ended up buying a lovely old Chinese painting on wood for our Asian bathroom. Our Chinese daughter-in-law is impressed with it every time she visits.

My husband & I were fortunate enough to have bought a house that was renovated by Maria. We have been in homes with the same floor plan as ours that have not been updated and I must say, Maria had vision!!
Maria did a fabulous job of opening up the floor plan & making it flow. She used high grade quality products such as marble, granite & wood floors.
The kitchen and all three bathrooms are amazing! The kitchen is not only beautiful, but very functional. The bathrooms have a "high end resort" feel to them.
Even the paint colors she used in the house give the space a very light and airy feel.
I would also like to add that Maria not only revamped the inside of the house, but the outside too! In the front yard she created a beautiful rock/ lawn garden with plants. It's very easy to care for with low maintenance. As for the back yard, she positioned the deck towards the rear/side of our yard so that we have spectacular views! She also leveled out the yard and put the perfect amount of privacy type bushes along the side yard.
Maria has wonderful taste and vision. We feel very fortunate to have bought a house renovated/designed by her.

I had excellent experience with Maria handling my home remodeling. She took care of master plan as well as small details. She went extra mile to find solutions that work both esthetically and budget-wise. Where I was not sure or did not know what to do, she tactfully proposed options. Just one example: my dining room had difficult floor layout - half marble, half wood - which had to be changed. Maria spent a lot of effort trying to find a match for old marble. When all options were exhausted, the solution was found in extending wood area in pretty non-trivial manner. And it worked wonders - I have now the best of both worlds.

Few words on budget management - I can't imagine anyone who would take better care of allocations, resources and costs. Five stars to Maria's knowledge and experience.

Maria was wonderful. We had one and a half baths squeezed into 70 square feet in our San Francisco flat. Maria was able to redesign both bathrooms and give us two full baths without moving any walls. To complicate the situation, I was pregnant with my second son, and we were on a tight time-line. Maria was able to work with our contractor to complete the bathrooms in a timely manner (some delay’s but that’s to be expected). The bathrooms are gorgeous and very functional, which was important to us. Maria is a very talented, detail-oriented designer and a skilled project manager.

I highly recommend Maria. We worked with Maria on the designs for remodeling two bathrooms for our condo in the Mission in San Francisco. This was a long distance project since we live on the East Coast. Maria quickly honed in on our desired aesthetic. I hired this company to come into a 5 yr old very modern style home, to help me decorate with some antique furniture, décor ranging, antique thru 1980's, western, hand forged, Native American items, & photos The designer did a fabulous job, in just a few days. She personally helped me purchase a few items, keeping costs in mind. She gave me advice on what to do/purchase for what my time did not allow us to complete. Our guests "WoW " at how beautifully decorated our home is with all the "personal" touch intact.
